IT'S FINE TO BE NINE!

My little Rylee Michelle was born nine years ago today! I can't believe she is such a big girl! But, sometimes I still call her my Rylee Roo, I just can't help myself! Afterall, she is my baby! So now here are nine reasons why we all love her so much:

#1. Her willingness to help others. She loves to set the table and even do the dishes sometimes! She always offers to help at school in the classroom even when school is out! Her teacher really appreciates the extra help.

#2. She loves to play all of the time and wants to spend every minute she can playing with her cousins and friends!

#3. Her love of art! She has made us so many beautiful pictures over the years. She gets so sad that we can't keep every picture she has ever made or we would have no where to live in our house! It would be full of art!

#4. I love to watch her playing pretend with her Barbies or her American Girl Dolls. She has a wonderful and very creative imagination. I wonder where she gets that from???

#5. She loves to sing and always sings whenever she gets the chance! She has even joined the choir at her school!
(Here is a picture of her with her friend Jaynee and her choir teacher.)

#6. She is very loving to all. I know her sibs would disagree, but she does love them! This just proves that she is very very good at being a little sister! LOL!

#7. Rylee loves food, but certain food. Her favorite thing in the world is going to Sonic for mozzarella sticks and Dr. Pepper. I personally find this very cute and funny because she begs and begs to go all the time! I know she would live off of this fried cheese and soda combo if we let her! Sounds a lot like he Uncle RB if you ask me!

#8. She can sometimes be a little dramatic and so this year she earned a new nick name at school. Her teacher and I call her the DQ. We love her and this is just another reason why!

#9. She loves to cuddle and snuggle with me and would sleep in my bed every night if she had her way! She is very much a mommy's and daddy's girl and loves to cuddle and spend time with her new step daddy too! It's hard to say no to Rylee! I think she's already got him wrapped around her little finger! Definetly our little princess! And she knows it!

We all love you very much Rylee! You are growing up to be such a pretty, smart and talented girl. Keep up all the hard work at school and don't ever lose your love of play and imagination! Happy Birthday!

The Benihana Experience!

Jamie and I went on a double date last night with RB & Stacie to Benihana's, a teppanyaki style Japanese restaurant. It was so much fun to watch the chef make everything at your table! And the food was absolutely delicious! They use their homemade garlic butter in all of their food and it is so good! I want to go back and buy a tub of it! Our chef was Allen, and he was so talented! He had stuff flipping everywhere and a great sense of humor too! If you haven't ever been there then you need to go! We left there completely stuffed! I was very impressed! We all had such a good time. Thanks for the invite RB & Stacie! Let's do it again!

Taking Down Christmas

I can't believe that Christmas has come and gone again! I hate having to take down all the fun Christmas decorations, but it just has to be done. Thanks mom for helping to make our home so beautiful for the holidays! We love you and can never thank you enough for everything you do! Love you!
