As most of you probably know, I work at an elementary school. I often use the bathroom by our classroom instead of walking up to the front office because it's faster. So, I was in there and overheard 2 little kindergarten students conversing. I always find childrens' conversations enlightening and often quite funny. Here is how the conversation went:
Girl 1 - What size do you wear?
Girl 2 - A size 6.
Girl 1 - Well, how old are you?
Girl 2 - Five.
Girl 1 - If you're 5 then you should only wear a 5. If you already wear a size 6 then you are too big!!!
Girl 2 - Oh, Hmmmmmmm. Well, somebody didn't flush this toilet after they used it and I don't flush after other people, so I am not going to flush the toilet!
I could not believe that a girl in kindergarten is already watching her size and asking other girls theirs! I hate that our society puts so much emphasis on looks and weight. These little girls should not have to worry about what size they are in kindergarten!!!!! This is absolutely sickening! Don't five year olds have enough to worry about?? I was glad that Girl 2 did not seem at all bothered by Girl 1's comment that she was too big. However, I was very astonished that she was not willing to flush the toilet! LOL!

Wow. Girls are crazy. I'm sure you flushed the toilet for her - since you knew she didn't! Right? LOL Poor custodian - theirs is truly a thankless job.
If I was a size "6" I wouldn't be bothered by someone saying I was too big either! LOL!
