Jordyn was given an assignment by her Language Arts teacher to write a poem. Here is what she wrote:
Greed
A heavy weight inside you
Drowns you in a sea of rapaciousness
Blinds you from the greater matters
Turns your heart to stone
Cuts off all emotions
Not caring what you say to others
Or what others say about you
Cupidity is all you think about
Always wanting more
And more
Ravenous thoughts run
Through your mind
Turning it upside down
Always acquiring more
And more material items
But never fully satisfied
Never stopping till there's
Nothing left
All of our beautiful, green planet
Destroyed
leaving nothing but gray
And sadness
Because of your hunger
For Greed

I couldn't have written a poem that good! I don't even know what some of those words mean!
